OfferMarket My Properties plugin privacy policy

What the plugin does
OfferMarket My Properties is a browser plugin. You type or paste the address of a property you are scouting. The plugin saves the address to My Properties in your OfferMarket account as a prospect, and OfferMarket evaluates the property.
The plugin also shows your My Properties table from your account, with the loans, listings, and insurance linked to each property. You can open, edit, or remove a property there, as on offermarket.us. The plugin does not keep a copy of the table on your device.
What the plugin collects
- Your email and your account ID, when you sign in on offermarket.us.
- Your login tokens, so the plugin can save properties for you. The plugin keeps them encrypted on your device. It sends them only to OfferMarket and to the sign-in service that OfferMarket uses, which renews them.
- The addresses you add.
The plugin cannot read the pages you visit, your browsing history, or the content of other sites. It has no access to them.
How OfferMarket uses it
- To save each address to your account, and to show you its property data and its evaluation.
- As you type an address, OfferMarket sends the text you typed to the map service, which suggests full addresses. It sends nothing else with it.
- To evaluate a property, OfferMarket sends the address to a property data provider, to a map service to find the place, and to an AI service. The AI service also gets the public data that the property data provider has on the property. None of them gets your name, your email, or your account ID.
- The property data and the evaluation describe the property, not you. OfferMarket can reuse them when someone adds the same address again.
- OfferMarket staff can see the properties you add and their evaluations, to help you with them.
What OfferMarket does not do
- It does not sell your data.
- It does not use your data for ads or for loan decisions.
- It does not give your data to others, except the services listed above, or when the law requires it.
OfferMarket limits its use of the plugin's data, as the user data statement says.
Your choices
- Withdraw consent in the plugin's menu. The plugin then signs you out and deletes its data on your device. It sends nothing until you agree again.
- Sign out in the plugin's menu at any time.
- Delete a property in My Properties, in the plugin or on offermarket.us. To delete your account, email hello@offermarket.us.
- Remove the plugin to delete its data on your device.
Security
The plugin talks to OfferMarket only over HTTPS. Your login tokens are encrypted on your device, with a key that scripts cannot export.
